a super pokemon game?

let's just assume that the 5th generation is the final group of pokemon ever. would anybody think it would be cool to make a pokemon game with all 5 regions for the ds. i feel like that would be really cool. especially if they were able to link all 5 regions together.

It would be cool, but Nintendo would never do that.

It would be an awesome idea, but I don't think a DS cartrige can hold that much data...

My saying is that in Gen 2, the Johto region was very small IMO and nothing too important IMO happened in Kanto. They could've made Gen 2 just have Johto and they could have had more events there.

So if you try to put FIVE regions into one game, nothing much will happen in each region...

hmmmmm. maybe you can seperate it into multiple cartriges and make it like a box collector set with a ton of events and stuff. and somehow find a way to link all the stories together.

Yea, that would be cool, but they would have to be played in the order the parts are in, there could be like cartridge 1 for part 1 or something, and then the second cartridge for part 2.

yeah thats what im saying exactly. maybe you can put johto and kanto in part one. and then put hoenn, isshu, and sinnoh in part two and somehow find a way to link the whole story together.

That would still be too big IMO, but they could do a combination of Kanto and Johto and put Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova (Isshu's official english name) in separate cartridges.

okay maybe not for the ds, im sure it can be done possibly in the future though lol.

But remember: For almost every portable system that Nintendo makes, two+ Pokemon games will be made.

However, Pokemon won't end for a LOOOONG while, so don't expect anything too soon.

i know im just saying when pokemon decides to end it would be a great idea.

The plot would be too long. Also, after traveling through all 5 regions, your pokemon would be so high leveled, the wild pokemon and trainers in the final regions (possibly 2) would have to have pokemon ranging from levels 80-100 to even keep up with your pokemon!

"Landscaping" is actually not a very large part of the Pokemon games in terms of memory. I'm positive that it could fit (if not now, then within the next year).

The reason why no game since GSC has made more than one region accessible is mostly because it takes an extreme amount of time for not much payoff. Level design has a lot of small details and Pokemon has a history of getting them all exactly right. Implementing five entire regions goes beyond extremely excessive and into outrageously unreasonable territory.
