Best Pokemon Game

My favorite is first generation. Nothing beats a classic.

i love emerald, but yellow is the bestest ever <3 ^-^

2nd gen was amazing. I will never forget it.

Remakes not an option? I really loved HeartGold. It finally replaced Yellow as my favorite game.

Gold/Silver originals were the best games in my opinion, they really brought a game that had a great start with red/blue and added a lot of great things to it.

If that's your favorite just count it as 2nd gen

Rough choice between 1st and 2nd Gen. 2nd Gen was my first games, but nothing beats a classic, and genthe original 151 Pokemon were by far my favorites..... Tough decision but I cast my vote to Gen 1.

Gen 2 all the way but ti was hard to decide b/t 2nd and 3rd gen loved it!

First generation is the best. I love SoulSilver, though, because you can eventually catch them all - in a second generation game!

Mine go like this
1st, 3rd, 2nd, then 4th. Black and white is shaping up nicely though...

I can't jump and play the classics of Pokemon. I know it's a "classic", but I hate the fact that I have to go all the way to my Pokemon and then tell them to cut just to cut a tree. I like to click the object and it know what to do instantly.

HeartGold replaced Gold, my previous favourite :3
1st gen always seemed a bit too flawed and unfinished for me, but in 2nd gen everything was perfect. Except for EVs and such, but I didn't have a clue about them.

well i really liked 1st and 2nd and then i thought wait duh soulsilver has both and u said vote 2nd for soulsilver so thats what i did

Emerald Has AWESOME Gameplay. But Nothing Beats the Ol' Times.

I liked 4th gen. But 3rd gen is the best in my book.

G/S/C. Brought a lot of improvments in the Pokemon world, but they were taken away in the 3rd Gen. But I also love Yellow.

Diamond, Pearl, Platnium is the best. Now I can finally have a Gyarados that can actually utilized water moves. If the physical/ special split happened in the second generation, that would be the best.

4th gen made PokeMon a game that can actually be respected in its design, rather than a childhood fad bearing fond memories. With the depth of battling design that 4th brought to the table (following in 3rd's footsteps), I can honestly say I wouldn't be here if it weren't for Pokemon Pearl (or Diamond or Platinum). Cutesy little Pikachu doesn't keep your attention for 10 years.

I think the fact that u cud go back to to the cities from the original version made the G/S/C series enjoyable to me and most favorite.
plus 16 badges is cool.
loved yellow too as it was my first pokemon game.
i also think that the cut scenes for the Kyogre and Groudon battle and rayquaza coming to stop them was extreamly epic in emerald

3rd because i like all of the pokemon from it and beacuse my first pkemon game was sapphire

Go originals I love rby missingno is my favorite then gsc comes in a close second with dpp in 3rd void glitch and running around in the messed up world puts it somewhat close to gsc then rse in last because I didn't really like too many of the new pokemon and I couldn't do any fun glitches

I like the 2nd Gen. the best. Here is my order:
2nd, 4th, 1st, 3rd, but if the 5th Gen. was in this, it would definitely be first

I definitely like the original Yellow/Red/Blue combo. They're a classic.
