As an Empoleon, it gets a really unorthodox dual typing. Torterra too I guess but Grass/Ground takes too many hits. Still pissed that they redid the Fire/Fighting combination for the starters. I liked Blaziken better than Infernape anyway.

i chose chimchar for my diamond on my first play through it cuz theres not that many fire types to choose from without trading, migrating, etc.

empoleon would be the best... only if he had better base stats.
thats y i would start with chimchar... infernape is the best

infernape can take out empoleon with close combat and any fire move for torterra
