How Long Do You Think Pokemon Will Be Around?

I say 10-20 years.

Pokemon is done after this generation as far as VG most likely, if they drag it on it may lose popularity.

Not really seeing as how every time a new game is realesed, they make 10 million dollars or so.

I'll say one more gen after five. You know your going down hill when you decided to make a Pokemon in the image of a snow cone.

... I really don't care if they don't make new pokes as long as they keep making the game.

It's hard to decide, they shot for 14 years With ash and brock, and with black and white coming out, it would seems as if they are starting over with Ash and Dent.

But to counter that is that their creative pokemons are thinning out, and it's going to be much harder to continue with the already known +600 Pokemon. (

I would say that pokemon would stay around for maybe another 5-6 years. The finale should be that Ash is the pokemon master and what not.

Pokemon will be around forever. Maybe at some point GameFreak will stop advertising it, but the idea of Pokemon will last a long, long, long time.... I have a premonition that Pokemon games are going to become family heirlooms once they stop being produced. hahaha

well, if they do make a 6th gen there going to have to be careful as to what the artwork of the pkmn thats #666 in the national dex looks like.

sadly, all good things have to come to an end. i give it about one more generation after the 5th gen and its safe to say i think pokemon will start to die in popularity. nintendo is simply just running out of ideas and the 5th gen truly shows it. however, pokemon is all around probably the most successful show/game around the world and if the 5th gen has success, maybe there is still hope.

1 thing is for sure, even if they stop making stuff for pokemon, it will still be popular. kinda like how invader zim was. they realized it, then canceled it, then realized was realy popular, (especially among the emos, oddly pikachu, pokeballs, & tinkerbell seem to be popular among them as well. at leat here in pa) & then put back on nickolodeon.

Hopefully. Ash is annoying IMO.

and the fact that he dosn't seem to age is also annoying, but that electabuzz fan-girl casey is more annoying then ash in my book. he**, shes even annoying to ash @ times.
