Avatar was the best 3-D movie ever. The graphics were amazing and the storyline was awesome.

It was basically Dances with Wolves with Aliens instead of Indians. I saw it in 3-D and it was definitely breathtaking, but I was very much disappointed in the story.blazingf wrote:Avatar was the best 3-D movie ever. The graphics were amazing and the storyline was awesome.
On the same note, I thought Clash of the Titans was pretty good in 3D. If it weren't for Avatar coming out the same year it probably would've been much more sucessful... though it also suffered from a predictably bad story.

Avatar was good, but if you've seen Pocahontas, you've seen Avatar.
Unoriginality for the lose.
I really liked Up. I saw Toy Story 1 / Toy Story 2 in 3D as a double feature last year, and the most epic part was at the beginning where Buzz was going against Zurg in the video game setting.

Yeah, for the first fifteen minutes or so, I was laughing, then crying, then laughing, then crying.
It was ridiculous. D;
Pixar knows how to mess with my emotions. Toy Story 3 did that at the end as well.

I saw Toy Story 3 in 3D and it was pretty awesome.
I didn't get to see Avatar in 3D, but it was still graphically amazing. Even though the concept was old and used.

Avatar's graphics were amazing enough in 2D. I think seeing it in 3D would have actually been too overwhelming for my tastes.
By the way, guys- I have a "3D" DVD of Coraline, and it's nothing like it is in theatres. It's awful.
Don't do it. It's a trap.

These 3D movies barely look 3D, but I'll go with Toy Story 3 and Resident Evil 4 Afterlife.

Re: favorite movie in 3d?
To be fair, most movies in 3d suck now a days. I used to watch 3d movies for a treat, now it's just like, "oh, I'm a movie, I have no need for 3d but I'll bring it out in 3d anyway" so yeah, 3d movies pretty much suck.
Anyway, Avatar was the best movie in 3d I've seen

I think 3D movies are a complete and utter waste of money. Most of the time they're 3-5 dollars more, and it's really not that worth it.
Th eonly 3D movie I saw Beowolf, but that was because it was on Imax. And even that movie was pretty sub par.
