Prof. Birch: Ah, here are the new trainers! *runs to the back and rolls out a tray with three Pokeballs on them* Here are three Pokemon. They contain three Pokemon. Treecko, the Grass-type. Mudkip, the Water-type. Torchic, the Fire-type. Ahhh, Cobalt! Why don't you go first?

Cobalt: Okay. *takes Pokeball in the middle* I choose Mudkip!

Prof. Birch: Good choice Cobalt. Pine, you can go next.

Prof. Birch: That's great! You all got your first Pokemon! *hands out Pokedexes and Pokeballs* These are your encyclopedias on any Pokemon you'll meet, and the tools you capture the Pokemon with. I've got an expirement going on here. *runs to the back and rolls out another cart with one Pokeball on it* This here's a Beldum. I'm doing expiriments now.
