No. Its just normal damage. The two cancel each other out.

In the New Black and white, they announeced triple battles, what is your opinion on it?

Interesting, but about as original as having cereal for breakfast.

basically the same as having double battle, but does it mean that maybe double battles won't be seen as much?

some of the mechanics are different, apparently you can change the positions of the pokemon mid battle

Heres what I heard

The middle Pokémon being able to target all three Pokémon and the ones at the sides being able to target the opposite one and the middle one. You also have the ability to switch Pokémon positions in battle.
If a Pokémon in the middle uses an attack that hits all Pokémon, then it will be very powerful

If i was a mod I would say this topic is wrongly placed but i'm not so I think triple battles will be more strategic than a lot of other battles.

Well if it's really like that, I think it would be neat because it adds a little more strategy to NPC battles, as they're generally very easy.


I'm just worried Black and White are going to get out of hand. I hope they don't add ANY more legendaries. We have more than enough.

Okay so what do you guys think about new Eeveeloutions (sp?) Do you think there will be any. Im kinda hoping for some more. It would be complicated but great (and possibly too many) if we had an eeveeloution for each type. If your hoping for one what type? Mine would be a flying one and a dragon one!

I don't think one for each type would be too many. It would be pretty neat, actually.

I think if they made a rock type, it should be pretty fast. You don't see very many Rock-type sweepers, and it'd be a neat addition.

I actually think if what's been posted is true, the Triple Battles could be really cool.

I guess new Eevee evolutions will be alright. Dragon Eevee now that's hard to picture!

Concept behind a dragon eevee: Before the types were split into physical and special, fire, electric, water, psychic, dark, grass, ice, and dragon were considered to be the "special" types. All of these have been made into an eeveelution except dragon.

But dragon would be so broken, it'd need to be a pseudo-legend.

It wouldn't be as broken as Garchomp. XD

l just have to say that triple battles are going to be a bad thing.... l cant back up a reason l just do l will laugh tho when l turn out to love it but ti seems to be my least favorite thing about it besides the new pokemon >.<

That's funny. I really want a poison eevee for the next gen. I think it'd be interesting.

Yeah, but even Garchomp's weaknesses have a heck of a time KOing it. I don't think a Dragon eevee would be so strong. Not enough to be broken anyway.

Oh yeaaah! I forgot about storylines. There's actually some news about the villain I think? Something about an idealist who calls pokemon "Friends" but wants to separate humans and pokemon to "free" them, make everything "black and white."

Is it just me, or are all these teams really political statements?

I agree. And even the rival from GSC and HG/SS yields a moral story.
