A New type of Pokemon?

What would you guys think if a new type was introduced to the Pokemon series. Say what the type would be called, what it would be powerful against, and whatever else you might want to list.

A new type would be nice, but I think there is no need for one

Alien type? it just hit me how cool that would be

the new type will most likly be light due to white and black theres dark for black and light for white watcha think of that assumption

I think a mystic type. Like pokes from legends. Example: a leprechaun

doesnt Arceus have a ??? type in the game but thers no plate for it,
i like the idea of a light type, it could be super effective against dark ghost and maybe psychic but be weak to idk... mmm maybe make it a weak to dark too and poison. i say poison cuz the poison type has been gettin screwed by the game since the start, poor poison types only have 1 super effective and thats grass ;[ how about a SUPER POISON TYPE, TOXIC TYPES!!

why dont they have a light type if theres a dark type?

I like the idea of light pokemon also, also it wouldn't be too hard to balance the other types with it too if you add only one type

Maybe like a Light type to offset the Dark type? Thinking Pokemon Black and White here. Although, we do already have the fighting type....

I don't think they'll make a Light type, though, becasue the Dark type represents theives and criminals, and we use Fighting against them, representing the noble samurai, who prevails against crime. Hence Fighting > Dark

Light would probably be it if they added a new type to counter Dark, but really they don't have a whole lot of choices anymore. Unless they get really stupid and start making Wood types or something.
