Getting a Shiny Starter

Is it worth it, if so, what are the chances because i might soft reset when i get black and white, i dont really know.

No I would just stick with getting a normal colored starter the chances of getting one shiny are like 1 in 8173!!!

yh its like 1 in 8500 can take really long like 2 months

Might aswell just ask to trade for one when it comes out

It's only worth it if you think it's worth it. That's the best answer that I think anyone can give. Others have given the statistics, and you can decide for yourself from there. I agree that it's easier to trade for one.

There was just a thread made for soft-resetting for legendaries. It's the same basic concept.

Toejammer, don't mention competing sites. It's considered advertising.
Also - you have two signatures, and you only need one. It takes up too much space.
