How caan you tell if pokes hacked?

i cant contact the guy i traded with to get this pokemon however i know from past scamers that hacked pokemon dont have complete names but everything else looks legit would anyone mind going on wifi to look at it for me. i need a second opinion

If it was caught in a masterball and isn't a legend, it's probably fake. If it was hatched from an egg, it's probably legit. If it's a seemingly impossible level, it may be hacked. If the OT / moveset / ability / stats / Trainer ID seem to be normal, it's probably legit.

Mostly any thing with perfect Ivs are hacked unless they were RNG and remember breeds can only be in pokeballs aswell as starters

You can use a non-legit ditto to breed a Pokemon with great IVs that is legit, though. Not all of the IVs would be perfect, though - only three of them.

Also make sure the words Day-Care couple is in the third spot of the memo. If it is in the sixth spot or third and sixth slot, it is probably hacked.

i think u should inspect the pokemon throughly (espcially for events) not just the OT, ID and where it was met, but the ball it comes in (events come in the Cherish Ball) the ribbon it holds (as most new wifi events have the classic ribbon) and the pokemon name (if its a japanese event its supposed to be in japanese).
i learned this the hard way as i got my first crown suicune. it had the correct berry, OT, ID, Movie 10 event, in cherish ball with the ribbon but it was IN ENGLISH.

Bold is most definitely not true. Almost all of the poke prizes passed out here say they come from an egg, but none of them are legit. Unless you want to call them "legit hacks," which makes no sense.

Of course, I read a lot of things that said that people thought that if they were "apparently met," then that meant they were hacked--but really it just means they were traded.

The biggest thing is the place caught,pokeball,moves,and trainer ID and OT

MKX has a very hacked Darkrai that's met at Route 208.

If you're having a particular problem, you should post everything you know about the pokemon, and we can help you try to figure it out

Believe who you're trading, or they are fake.

You can check the Place where it was gotten from the moves the ID number.
