what is your favorite grand theft auto game?mine is grand theft auto 4.

Mine is GTA 3, the first one I played on my PS2.

Gta San Andreas has to be the best. coolest story ever. Best Main Character CJ. with all those easter eggs and weapons and IGN giving 10/10 i hope san andreas stories comes out.

I really like GTA4, maybe because I never played San Andreas. I really liked the story, it's probably my favorite game of all time for just messing around, and the multiplayer wasn't bad either.

True, but PS2s have backwards compatibility.
and just because a game was released before you were born doesn't mean you can't like it.
I had GTA1 with some kind of 1970s sort of version of the game.
It was a down right awesome game.
But I like San Andreas best.
I don't have a PS3 so I can't play GTA4, but I thought San Andreas had the best storyline out of all of the games. Plus, it was extremely in depth and had some very nice environments.
Plus, it had James Woods.

My favorite is San Andreas.

GTA 4 was really good but it was to easy

I liked the old-school PS2 GTA3. GTA 1&2 weren't 3D but they were still fun, as well. After three they just started going for shock value and stopped focusing on actual fun gameplay, in my opinion.

I've only played GTA IV, but I still love it because I have a BLAST with the online multiplayer! We just like turn off the cops and do random crap with the helicopters and steal nice cars and motorcycles!

GTA IV took my breath away the first time I played it. It's my favortie. But I still can't get over why they made GTA for handehelds.....When somethings already so good, you don't mess with it.....

Grand Theft Auto IV was best to me.

I have to say GTA: Vice City. It's more built as Hollywood, Florida, than Miami. I like driving through it in the game and recognizing where some things would normally be in real life.
