PokeCenter Forum Rules
Forum Rules
WARNING: Breaking the rules is quite likely to result in Forum Moderators taking action against your account. If you fail to abide by the rules and find that you can't post or send PM's, it's your fault, not ours. This is your warning.
*A 'warn' is defined as a temporary ban from the forum and inability to post.
Listen to The PokeCenter Moderators and Administrators!
Additional rules:
1. Moderators can post 12hrs after their own post, and members must wait 24hrs.
2. Don't keep bugging me for help if you haven't sought for a solution first.
3. Don't waist my time, annoy me (PokeCenter), or ask stupid questions.
4. No Mini-Modding! We have Moderators that can handle the work. If you want to help use the report button.
5. Impersonation of a Moderator will earn you a ban.
6. This is a English forum, so only speak English.

Listen to The PokeCenter Moderators and Administrators!
- No Advertising:
No advertising at all. This includes posting links on the forum (PM me to get them approved), links in your profile (Other than the Website field), putting them in your signature, and PMing them. - Use clean language:
Some users may take offense to cursing and other foul talk. Therefore, please refrain from such language. - No Flaming: This includes any personal attacks on another member. Discussions and debates are fine, so long as they do not get out of hand.
- No Trolling: Don't attempt to get other members to flame you by baiting them. Similarly, if someone tries to get an inappropriate response from you, report their post or PM a Moderator with the topic for them to deal with the instigator rather than replying.
- No Spamming: Don't make useless topics or posts. If you want to post in a topic, add something to the discussion or answer the topic creator's question. Things like "in before lock" and "IDK LOL" are pointless, as are posts containing 4chan-esque "PURPOSE: This Topic Serves None" pictures. Replying with only a picture is unacceptable. Also spamming results in poke token deduction.
- Post In The Correct Section: We don't like having to spend time moving topics from place to place so they're in the proper category.
- Search For A Solution First: Before making a topic for help or with a suggestion, search to see if someone else has already done the same and see what reply they received.
- Don't Make Multiple Accounts: If we suspend you, that doesn't mean you should try to evade the suspension by using a different account. You should also not keep additional accounts "in reserve" in case you get in trouble. If we find you have multiple accounts, your extras will be banned and your main account will get an extra warning.
- Don't Post For Banned Members: If we banned someone, it stands to reason that we do not want them here. It is not your job to ensure that the voice of banned members is heard here, and if you post for them you will face moderation in their place.
- Respect Moderator Actions: If a Moderator edits, deletes, or locks topics, do not attempt to restart them. If you feel Moderators have acted unjustly, PM an Administrator with your concern.
- Use Reasonably Sized Images: If you post pictures in your signature or on a post, make sure they're not extremely huge and are in small file sizes such as .jpeg or .gif. Also stick to one signature!
- Post Appropriate Content: All post, signature, and avatar material must be kept appropriate. No M rated content is allowed. You may also not use your signature or avatar to insult or otherwise harass any member of the forum.
- Reporting Users: If you have found a user violating the rules of the forum, do not attack them in a topic. By flaming and baiting, you only encourage violators to violate the rules more often. Instead, report the post or PM a Moderator so they can deal with the situation.
- Becoming a Moderator: Do not ask to become a Moderator. Doing so will only reduce your chances of ever being selected. If you really want to become a Moderator, demonstrate leader-like characteristics that may one day earn you Moderator status.
