New Nintendo DSI XL

So many problems with this DSI. Not only is it an obvious quick dollar for Nintendo, the enlarged screen doesn't even compensate itself by way of picture quality.

Notice each ds is a stepping stone for the next? Ask me, but this is a way to see what they can do on the 3ds. I don't like though.

The 3D DS is probably going to be cool as the DSI is.

I think its a waste of an extra 30 bucks (I think that's the extra) maybe to kids who have absolutely horrible eyes and can't see anything. I would rather have the smaller compact one, that is the same besides the size.

Lol I saw kids who had them yesterday. I thought it was a portable TV! --- A little joke .

Clearly these are the future of Nintendo gaming. They have us all hooked early, so we'll need these large screen DSiXL for when we're old, grey, and still playing PokeMon!

i think its pretty cool, the bigger screen that is, but of they can fit a bigger screen why cant they put a gba game in the dsi, thats why i dont like dsi.or dsixl. would like better if more like ds. lite

I dont really like it especially the wine red one. Its ugly. But I think the brown one could pass.

Wasnt teh DS lite supposed to come out just so it could be smaller....... Fail Nintendo.... Fail

I have a DS Phat and I've had problems trading with people who have the DSiXL. It just won't connect. I can trade with plenty of other people fine. It's pretty awful.

I just hate it that they made the N3DS so soon...I got the DSi 2 months ago and Im not in the mood paying 300 euros again. And this is the first ever DSi that has more then just a bigger screen so yeah...

Yeah - I just bought the original DS probably a month ago because I'm a poor college kid and had been refusing to buy the DS or any of its upgrades because D/P/Pt didn't seem worth it to me - but then HG and SS came out, and I just HAD to get it... so I got a job and saved up.

Now I'm going to have to buy a new system again - just so I can play one game? Again?
I'll probably end up waiting months [or years] after it's released before I buy it. I'm a cheapskate.

Well the black and white games will be for the old DSi aswell but I'm not sure about Kid Icarus etc. And they said that YOU CAN WATCH 3D MOVIES on the N3DS. MOVIES...Thats just too much. And they said the graphics will be compatible with the ps 3 xbox and wii...So EXCEPTIONAL graphics, 3D, movies, new games etc. etc. etc.--... I wouldn't buy the DSi know if I knew this was coming. Even if my parrents will allow me and buy me the new one I'll always have a bad feeling for having 2 DSi then cause the old one would just be 250 euros spent for nothing

This is true - but there's been rumor of them releasing a Grey game on the N3DS, and even if that doesn't happen - when there's a new system, there's bound to be a new Pokemon game. That's what I was saying.
But let's stay on topic. This thread is about the DSi XL, not the N3DS.

they dont need it its just a bigger version of the dsi if they add somthing new
to it say a video camera and actually change it a little it might be worth it
