The Pokemon Nature Guide
There's been some questions lately about what Natures do, and what would be best for which Pokemon, so instead of sending you guys elsewhere for info I just decided to make a guide explaining it right here for everyone.
Basically, a Pokemon's Nature indicates to you the things that it likes to do, and has a direct impact on its stats. Hasty, for example, indicates a speedy Pokemon with little regard for its safety, so it is a Speed, -Defense Nature. The change for the nature is 10% of the Stat Modified. Here's a list of the Natures and what stats they effect:
NEUTRAL NATURES (These natures have no effect on stats):
Hardy
Docile
Serious
Bashful
Quirky
ATTACK NATURES (These natures add to the attack stat but take away from some other stats):
Lonely (+Attack, -Defense)
Brave (+Attack, -Speed)
Adamant (+Attack, -Special Attack)
Naughty (+Attack, -Special Defense)
DEFENSE NATURES (These natures add to the defense stat but take away from some other stats):
Bold (+Defense, -Attack)
relaxed (+Defense, -Speed)
Impish (+Defense, -Special Attack)
Lax (+Defense, -Special Defense)
SPEED NATURES (These natures add to the Speed stat but take away from some other stats):
Timid (+Speed, -Attack)
Hasty (+Speed, -Defense)
Jolly (+Speed, -Special Sttack)
Naive (+Speed, -Special Defense)
SPECIAL ATTACK NATURES (These natures add to the special attack stat but take away from some other stats):
Modest (+Special attack, -Attack)
Mild (+Special Attack, -Defense)
Quiet (+Special Attack, -Speed)
Rash (+Special Attack, -Special Defense)
SPECIAL DEFENSE NATURES (These natures add to the special defense stat but take away from some other stats):
Calm (+special Defense, -Attack)
Gentle (+Special Defense, -Defense)
Sassy (+Special Defense, -Speed)
Careful (+Special Defense, -Special Attack)
That's about all I can think of that you need to know about natures.
