Salamence is UBER!

Yes thats right, Salamence, has been declared as an Uber tier pokemon, this means it will no longer be allowed in standard play.

What are your opinions on this?

I am personally glad that Salamnce is Uber because I see him on nearly every OU team I face, but that is the reason he was banned because he was being overcentrilized. Also I think there will be a big increase in the number of Scizor users now that Mence with Fire Blast has gone.

Scizor is gonna be next to Uber IMO, hes soooo broken with 90 base Power STAB Priority. And now that mence is gone, he's gonna be over-centralized.

Finally! Salamence, that overpowered maniac.. he deserves to be in uber tier for fairness.

How well a pokemon does in the uber tier has nothing to do with whether or not the pokemon is uber. The only thing that matters is how well it does in OU, and scizor does well.

Scizor, Blissey, and Breloom should all be kicked out of OU as well.

I disagree with blissey, as there are many things that counter it, namely physical sweeper. Breloom is also counterable, Many things are faster than it and can deal super effective hits to K.O. it before it can spore.

Assuming you can get it in? You KO x. Breloom comes in. You A) Switch to counter and get slept or B) Stay in and get slept. You then A) Switch out and get Subbed or B) Stay in, be asleep, and get subbed.

Which is not a counter. You die first. So you admit that Breloom has no counter, meaning that it will KO or disable one of your pokemon, without fail. Right?

Gengar with Hp fire is a counter immune to Focus punch as long as u have a sleep fodder u could easily get past the sub as long as it doesnt have rock slide/stone edge

l think Gengar ahould be able to break the sub after the safe switch into FPunch or Sub then either Hp fire it again or Dbond it if it is closee to dieing

Back On Subject Glad they c Mence and Chomp as equals...... They just both should be OU l personally thin they made the wrong switch but O well tht means no More Mence in OU wich l am happy bout

Okay I am here and posting because I feel a few things said weren't entirely true. Scizor is still going down in use if anything because of a lack of speed and BP isn't killing everything. Mence wasn't even a Scizor counter. Infernape, Zapdos, Heatran and Magnezone are why Scizor's use is dying. The current meta game now has a new dominant pokemon. With Mence being gone, Infernape is left with very few checks. Also Itachi is right about Breloom. It Once the sub goes up you've already lost at least 1 or 2 pokes trying to hit it... I use one myself because it is a wonderful asset to any team.

it stinks, i now need to find a new pokemon for my team but why are there teirs anyway, pokemon is about having fun and without salamance i have no fun

Its good that Salamence is now Uber but I think Garchomp shouldnt be Uber anymore.

All I have to say to that is, NO.
I'd much rather have Mence in the OU tier than Chomp; right off the bat, Garchomp was the major balance issue with the fourth generation, not to mention it's monstrous stats and mammoth sized movepool made it more than enough to be considered the biggest threat in the OU metagame.

I just hate how people classify Pokemon with these tiers. It makes me sick. Just use whatever dang Poke you want and allow others to do the same.

They have to classify Pokemon. it's to make battles fair and fun. I hate to admit it, but some Pokemon are just better than others. Tiers help classify, organize, and make life easier and fairer for competitive play.

Yea mence is overated thats why i traded mine 4 !!!

personally i do not really want salamence to be a uber because i use to like using salamence on my wifi battling team so i hate salamence being a uber
