I really don't feel like hatching the egg is worth a mudkip, though [it takes AGES] - and I'm paranoid about trading out unhatched eggs simply because I'm greedy and would be really upset if someone else hatched a shiny from it. Maybe you could add something else?

Sorry about that. Dratini's like 10k, I think? But I heard that if you have a Pokemon with Blaze, it splits it in half. And I just always have one in my party, so I guess it takes 5k for me, and it always feels like forever.

It's actually Flame Body or Magma Armor. I use a Magby and it cuts it down to 50% or 75% of usual, chosen randomly. I'll bring the legendaries as well and I'll stop posting in this thread before I get yelled at for spamming

No, no. I mean running around for a bajillion steps in order to hatch a Dratini just for a Mudkip I could probably get from a friend for free. I'm pretty sure my BFF will choose Mudkip when he gets the chance because he always does.

The ability that lets you have faster hatching is flame body or magma armor. pokemon with these abilities are
flame body- magby, magmar, magmortar
magma armor- camerupt

slugma and magcargo can have both abilites.

it makes for really fast hatching! well...faster than usual haha

outside of hatching

flamebody- has a 30% chance of burning the foe if it is hit by a contact move
magma armor - prevents freezing

I only have a modest dratini, level 10, female, which knows ExtremeSpeed, Dragon Rush, Iron Tail, and Thunder Wave.

The thing is that I accidentally deleted the move ExtremeSpeed from my Dragonite a while ago, meaning to get rid of Iron Tail and I wasn't paying attention, so I can only breed regular Dratinis right now. It sucks, but oh well. I might be able to talk one of my friends out of theirs later on.

If you're still interested in the Modest Dratini, I'm interested in the Modest Rotom.
