The Great Gatsby is a good book if you don't have to read it for a class and over-analyze it.

I agree about Harry Potter, I have no idea what Remember Me is, and the author of The Scarlet Letter is Nathaniel Hawthorne. Love that book. I wrote about it on one of the essays for my AP Lit Exam my senior year--and got a five. Woot.

my fav books are The Midnighters Trilogy by Scott Westerfeld
book 1: The Secret Hour
book 2:Touching Darkness
book 3: Blue Noon

I like my books casual - never heavy, like 1984. As such, my favourite series are Harry Potter (although the bits with Cho Chang almost made me vomit) and Twilight.

Harry Potter, Eragon, Warriors (the books are short but I still like them). The second Eragon book happens to be the longest book I've ever read. (999 pages)

White Fang is my favorite. Not the kiddie one, the 500 page one.
