Opinions of dawn?

If pokemon were real then doing some of the things she does would be permissable. But contests are where i draw the line! Nintendo is trying to make them equal to battles in my opinion. it started in hoen [the worst generation ever whicih i will discuss] The day they succeed, charizard will swim to the bottom of the lake of rage, wallow to the shore, and beg a magikarp for mercy.....

Hoen was the worst season ever. Thios is for several reasons, a few of which i will explain.

Bad sequle to gold and silver. Gold and silver had 2 regions unlike any other poekmon game. It introsuced breeding, gave pokemon proper colors, and made going through the game more realistic with high tech clocks and happiness and other things. You now had an exp bar. You could also import pokemon from red and blue so you could still have your lv 100 mewtwo kick butt like he did before. Hoen simply killed a lot of spirit in my opinion. At first it was like "HOLY poop THIS IS AWESOME" then your like "UGH THIS IS UGLY I WANT MY 2ND GEN STUFF BACK!" Hoen did not bring the graphics to a whole new level like gold and silver did. It even looked ugly in my opinion. It simply looked ugly. The landscape was distorted and ard to mauevor. Training was a nightmare. Most post-game stuff was so hard to unlock it wasnt viable. Not to mention the new pokes barely made a mark. Besides salamance, latias, jirachi [who was a nightmare to get], breloom [who only got REALLY good in the fourth gen], milotec, metagross, and perhaps blaziken [who has been losing momentum sence he began] there have been no A+ pokes from those games. Contests were a flop. NO one REALLY plays the game for those. They are an optional minigame that no one wants to bother with no matter how much nintendo promotes them. Gold and silver and christal were isolated and gone forever. Natures only made things more complicated, and the HMs were stupid.

The 4th generation however, brought us into the light of tomorrow. Our FR LG pokes can transferre without too much hastle, the game actually looks pretty, the spruites were cleaned up, they added a slew of new features, contests were slightly improved but still not that great. Training was fun again! ^_^ New pokes were amazing. The storyline was interesting, unlike the gang war in ruby and saphire. It fully utilized the features of the ds, which some people may think of as cheating, but to be honest, if you make a new system and DONT make the game live up to its full potential, it is an automatic fail. All 3 starters were good, which was great. It reminded me of red and blue in a good way. New items, new ideas, new EVERYTHING and everything old that was good was kept!

heh i liked kanto personally but, gen 4 is quite annoying with all the songs and crap but thats just me i never really played/seen jhoto but hoenn sucked the only reason i like latios and latias is because they were introduced in gen 2 lol but released in games in gen 3 well, thats not the only reason but yes i agree hoenn sucked only fun with action replay

ya my favorite generation was the 2nd and 3rd one, i just loved it, the game was amazing and the tv show and also amazing

u are very crazy bro May was better but Landon ur right gen 3 sucked gen 1 Kanto was and still is my favorite generation

i dont like most of the pokemon in the 4th generation. they just seem like last minute kind of pokemon

yea but they did have a couple of good ones but i'll stick with my generation Kanto

idk call me an overactive pokemon fan but i liked all the generations and continue to love the games although i havent been to much into the show manga or tcg in a really long time

generation 1 was best with misty brock pikachu and ash

yea that was a good one the Kanto region was my favorite as well

yeah that was my fav because it was the 1 one they started

i actually am a little partial to saphire ruby and emerald as they were the first i played... thats just me

the main thing i liked about them was Latias, Latios, and Rayquaza

Yeah Rayquaza is actually pretty cool.

Dawn is really fashionable,
on the other hand I think she is just a re-make of May,..
(which I can see they may have simillarities,)

well i dont mind dawnn in the series just that i hate her piplup.it annoys me so much.thinks its the best and when it trys to stand up for itself it annoys me

I see nothing wrong with pokemon contests. Pokemon is just trying to focus on other stuff besides gym battles. Also, it's nice seeing pokemon be graceful, yet powerful at the same time.

Dawn is a great character I love here personality and she's very friendly. I also loved Misty wish she could come back.
