Those a good shows, but that's not "classic" they're only a few years old.DiscoPichu wrote:I remember a few like "My Gym Partner's a Monkey" or "Camp Lazlo". Does anyone remember those?

If you want to a watch a "classic" cartoon network show, watch animaniacs, tiny toon adventures, Freakazoid, inspector gadget, the first few seasons of Ed Edd n Eddy (not when they went to school), teen titans, Sheep in the Big City, Dexter's lab, and courage the cowardly dog (oogah boogah boogah!)
THOSE were awesome shows. I remember cartoon cartoon fridays...That was so epic. It was the 2nd best thing on Cartoon network besides Toonami.

LOL those classics? Not at all! They still show those some time. Those shows sucked. Classics are the shows from years ago. Gundam Wing, Dragon Ball Z, The times when they had Tom the robot, One Piece, heck even Bo-Bo-Bo, Zatch Bell, and maybe even Naruto.
Those 2 poorly made cartoons that haven't been active on the air for a year or two are hardly classics.

I miss Toonami so much. Sailor Moon, Tenchi Muyo, Tenchi Universe, Rurouni Kenshin, YuYu Hakusho.
Then they got rid of Sailor Moon for stupid Hamtaro. And Toonami went downhill. =[

I feel idiotic for forgetting thundercats.dash4ever wrote:Dude kid vid, thundercats, tecknoman, ninja turtles, swat cats, pink panther, tiger sharks, thunderbirds, johnny bravo

I loved that show.
Pink panther was awesome too!
Johnny Bravo was kind of like Ed Edd n Eddy. It was great at the beginning, but just went downhill when they made it look "better".

Stuff like Dexter's Lab and Powerpuff Girls will always be my favorites. I will still watch those.
The new stuff on Cartoon Network is horrible, though.

These shows weren't on Cartoon Network. Despite being classic cartoons, they aren't applicable to this thread.

I may sound dumb, but my favorite Cartoon Network show was Captain Planet. Looking back now, I don't know why I watched this show.

Once more, Captain Planet wasn't a Cartoon Network. It was originally ran from 1990 to 1995 on TBS.

Agreed. For a kid growing up in the 90's, cartoons in gereral were always a big deal, but these days it seems like networks don't really care about good, clean fun. You didn't always have to tell a dirty joke or pass gas to make a kid laugh, but it seems those days are gone.

Re: Cartoon Network Shows?
sry about that but where i lived that was almost like my Cartoon network when growing up got a little carried away with the classics. but i do know that Cow and Chicken, I am weasel were there.
i think the mix up about Captain Planet was that it was a Hanna Barbera production and cartoon network were showing some old Hanna Barbera reruns like The Jetsons and Flintstones.
memories maybe bad from my younger days but u cant forget a Hanna Barbera logo. XD

It's saddening that they have to be grotesque in order to get viewers.

PokeCenter's being mean. Joking. Oh ya, they still have some of those shows on too, like the Naruto Movies. And they have a new Dragon Ball Z on NickToons. Saterday mornings a few years ago, so many good shows on.
Happy Anniversary! Disco~
