Tips on catching Entei and Raikou

Hey I've been trying to catch these to pokemon for a while but I never really was able to actually catch them in the one turn you fought them. How can I catch them easier, and is there a way to stop them from running?

I know there is a move that forces them to be unable to run, Mean Look? Don't know it the top of my head, but there is a move that does something like that. Also, you can also just get master balls !

Thanks are you sure it's mean look. I want to save my master ball for ho oh which is lvl 70

wobba shadow tag ^_^ crobot mean look is the helpfullest or put it to sleep get it again and keep throwing poke balls at it till you get it

Mean Look, Block, or the abilities Shadow Tag and Arena Trap would work.

Give your Pokemon a choice scarf or something too.

Get a weak gengar and use mean look it will work perfectly.

Mean look, or bring out that snorlax and use block!

i used snorlax with block for entei raikou and latios

Well Suicune won't run, and you know when you will see it so you can save and reset if you fail the first time.

waitfor a waek Gengar with mean look doesn't it have to be king of strong if it will attack before they run. What level do you think I'll need

Have you thought about bringing in a pokemon that knows false swipe?

For the easiest method of catching Entei, Raikou, and Latios/Latias you will need (Pokemon are interchangeable, the moves are what really matters):
-Weaville with false swipe, prefferably with max attack.
-Bronzong with block and hypnosis (Bronzong works better for this than Gengar since Bronzong can take a few hits without having to be a high level.)
-Dusk Balls/Ultra Balls

First, find whatever Pokemon you want to catch and have Weaville use fury cutter on it. If the Weaville is at max attack, then it should bring the health of whatever you're trying to catch down to 1.
If not, repeat as necessary until the Pokemon's health is at 1.
After you have the Pokemon you are trying to catch at 1 HP, find it again (preferably at night) and use Bronzong to Block it into battle. After using Block, use Hypnosis to put the enemy to sleep. Throw Dusk Balls/Ultra Balls to catch the Pokemon as necessary.

EDIT: TO CATCH SUICUNE: Personally, I had more problems catching Suicune than any of the other dogs. I recommend you use a Master ball, but if you can't, you should have a Pokemon that know false swipe and can knock Suicune down to 1 hp. Try and Paralize it, preferably, but other status problems will work. Dusk Balls work the best if you're catching it at night, but if you can't use Dusk Balls for whatever reason, just use Ultra Balls.

I already answered the question about Suicune Raquaza, read. Suicune doesn't run like Entei and Raikou do, so it's easier to catch it because you can save and reset.

just get a pokes with the moves mean look and block...
or u could get a trapinch,diglett or dudrio with the ability arena trap...

hold on you all are saying use a snorlax that knows block but if the pokemon is faster then won't it run before the snorelax can use block?

block always goes first either way

Just get a smeargle. Make sure it knows mean look, spore, flase swipe and some other move. Also be aware that smeargle should be pretty fast to use the attack first.
