Opinions on Halo 3: ODST

I thought that ODST was the worst $60 I ever spent on a video game. It started out a DLC idea, and that's how it should have stayed. I don't really feel like going into detail, but what do you guys think?

EDIT: Went ahead and mereged the topic Halo ODST with my own since they were both topics asking for people's opinions on ODST.

It was a good campaign but the $60 wasn't worth it. The only thing that made it cost that much was the mythic disk.

the game should have stayed as a DLC idea i agree, but they decided to add the whole multiplayer experience of halo 3 which is about err $30-40. It seemed like a rip to those of you who already had downloaded the Heroic, Legendary, Mythic. Those people only got the campaign, and Mythic #2. Therefore this lead to mindless hatred for the game of people who bought it thinking it would be Halo:4 or Halo Reach. It was never intended to be ground breaking (it had HALO 3 in the name) and people just set the bar too high.

It didn't even have that Halo feel. Which made it bad. That's saying something since I don't like Halo in the first place..

I liked ODST, especially because I got Recon because of it... I liked the night vision part and the scoped pistol came back!

To me Halo all together fails. I tried to shoot someone across the map and they didnt die. If it was CoD they woulda been dead. Halo isnt a favourite for me to buy

I think it was worth it. I mean yeah there was no multiplayer. You got to see the humans side of the perspective instead of this super human blowin up stuff without a care in the world.

As I am a girl playing Halo with friends, I quite like it
But Halo Reach is much better!!!

I like it but mmm not as good as pokemon games for sure.

I really don't know yet to give my opinion. All I'm going to ask is if the whole point of the game is to get reunited with your team? Because that's what I'm leaning towards.

the single player was ok but also way too short. Firefight is good as long as you have friends, but gets old fairly quickly.

Its good because you get all the Halo 3 DLC. or atleast it was. for what they charged the game's only worth it if you didnt have Halo 3 or its DLC already.
