Mono-Type Teams

This is a place to place your monotype teams Have Fun! If someone's team sucks, please be nice. lol

Heres my steel monoteam

Metagross @ Salac Berry
252 hp/ 236 atk/ 16 spd, Adamant
~Stealth Rock
~Explosion
~Bullet Punch
~Earthquake
Stealth Rock first obviosly, then you can Bullet Punch because other leads are usaually pretty weak. The 16 speed juts helps outspeed other Leadgrosses, and really, 401 attack is enough. 252 hp is for bulk, Explosion is if your opponent is pissing you off, and Earthquake is for steels that resist other attacks. Salac Berry helps you explode first when your health is low. This item is rare so if you can't get it, Iron Plate is okay too.

Scizor @ Life Orb
252 hp/ 252 atk/ 4 def, Adamant
~Bullet Punch
~Swords Dance
~Super Power
~Roost
The moves and item are common, but I use different evs with Scizor. The average Scizor uses speed and attack, but I think Bullet Punch carries enough speed. the hp is to help you withstand a hit so you can Swords Dance. Super Power for other steels and pokemon that resist Bullet Punch. Rooast is to recover Life Orb damage.

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
252 spa/ 252 spd/ 4 atk, Rash
~Fire Blast
~Earth Power
~Dragon Pulse
~Explosion
Do I even need to explain this pokemon...........? I bet you've seen it 1415.1521 times. Heatran really complements this team because most people will send out a fire, expecting to kill another member, then, WAH POW! Heatran Flash Fires them. Other than that, you know.

Bastiodon @ Leftovers
252 def/ 252 sp def/ 4 atk, Relaxed
~Metal Burst
~Toxic
~Rest
~Sleeptalk
Bastiodon's main attack is Metal Burst. The evs are for best "tankage" and work well too. if your opponent refuses to attack, cripple them with Toxic. Rest and Sleeptalk don't really need to be explained.

Aggron @ Hard Stone
(Make sure it has Rock Head)
252 atk/ 252 spd/ 4 def, Adamant
~Head Smash
~Aqua Tail
~Low Kick
~Rock Polish
First you use Rock Polish, obviously. After, SWEEPING TIME!!! Head Smash is an egg move, and its super good too. Rock Head really helps too by getting rid of Head Smash's recoild. Hard Stone powers up Head Smash, and the rest is for coverage. Actually, restisted Head Smash is stronger than a normal Aqua Tail, so have fun with that.

Lucario @ Focus Sash
252 atk/ 252 spd/ 4 hp, Adamant
~Extremespeed
~Close Combat
~Blaze Kick
~Swords Dance
This set works just like Scizor's, except because of Lucario's bad defenses, Focus Sash guaranties at least one Swords Dance. Extremespeed instead of Bullet Punch, and after one Swords Dance, All attacks will kill any pokemon they dont resist pretty much.

LOL that would be a dumb*** comment in this topic xDD hehe so well this team is too OU for my taste but it actually seems pretty cool, n i like the use u put to heatran 'cuz its stratergeist xD i also like that not ALL of them are sweepers... [hurray 4 bastiodon xD] thats my opinion anywayz

*also i am gonna make some monotype teams thats for sure! i think they're cool, plus conditioning yourself to make a team of only 1type will put some brain cells to work on tactics if u rly want a good team

one infernape can kill all this team probably except heatran

yea heatran is a counter and registeel can take 2 close combats and surive (with leftovers) registeel and own infernape with thunderwave, then aggron can kill it with aqua tail. also if aggron uises rock polish its easily a perfect counter.

Hmmm the metagorss seems alright but diffrent movesets

isnt a monotype team one type of pokemon only on ur team

I go with the metagross. It makes almost every team win
