This team needs descriptions. Without descriptions, we don't know what you want in this pokemon or what each move is for.

I think Vaporeon is useless in this team.I prefer you Breloom.

Yes Nidoking. It's not really the lead type, but then I have the element of surprise. They don't know what I'll do with it and that's what gives me the edge.123wert50 wrote:Wait, Nidoking?

Re: Rate My Team (Non-legendary please)
With Vaporeon gone, you're Heatran weak. You don't have a Rapid Spinner, so that will cause some problems if they manage to set up both Spikes and Stealth Rocks. I would've put 252 EVs in Attack for more power on Scizor, but that's your choice.

According to your theory, all teams will need a rapid spinner and if Vaporeon AND Weavile are gone, then every DD user sweeps your team. Saying if one thing is gone and then it will sweep a team is just silly.

Re: Rate My Team (Non-legendary please)
Actually, I tend to agree with Blaze. Vaporeon is this team's only answer to Heatran at all, and with Choice Specs, Vaporeon isn't very bulky. Even worse, if Heatran gets a Substitute and happens to have Hidden Power: Grass, then it can take out Vaporeon and still get another KO with Fire Blast or Earth Power.
I'm interested in how exactly this team plans to handle Jolteon, especially with Hidden Power: Ice.
If I had to make a suggestion, I think it would be to lose the Weavile and Sceptile in favour of more solid Pokemon. These guys are just too frail to be of any real use. Try using something like Gyarados instead.
Lastly, Choice Band is Scizor's most common set. Nobody is expecting Swords Dance.

Yeah, people will suspect mostly Choice Band. If you really want to catch people by surprise, you could make a Choice Scarf set. Not as powerful, but it catches people by surprise to see that Scizor outspeeded their Starmie.

Re: Rate My Team (Non-legendary please)
Might wanna drop Ice Beam/TBolt for Recover on Starmie, it lets it stay alive longer, I would drop Ice Beam becasue Weavile covers Dragonite, which is Ice Beam main function. Also you could try Hydro Pump instead of Surf juts for more power if needed

Re: Rate My Team (Non-legendary please)
Yes, dropping Ice Beam would also be beneficial because if you dropped Thunderbolt, you wouldn't have anything to beat Gyarados.

Re: Rate My Team (Non-legendary please)
But just don't add recover. bolt beam is too good to lose and recover on something offensive isn't necessary.

Re: Rate My Team (Non-legendary please)
It is built defensibly. l use a bulky SpinStar and it isn't built for sweeping ti is built for spinning and staying alive to spin as much as it needs to, while the coverage is nice, recover is better on a defensive oriented StarmieCalze6 wrote:But just don't add recover. bolt beam is too good to lose and recover on something offensive isn't necessary.

Re: Rate My Team (Non-legendary please)
The EVs are probs used to survive gyara. 212 Def doesn't mean it is defensive. I probably think that the LO set would be better anyway.
