Pokeradar Secret

The other simple way to get legitimate shiny pokemon in your game is to use the Pokeradar secret. The easiest way is to use the day's swarming pokemon (DPPt) and go to the route, use max repels and then use the Pokeradar to get to a pokemon. KO that pokemon, then continue on going through. Notice the kind of patch that you began with and go ahead and use that same sort of patch (wiggle or shake). The wiggling patches are the easiest.

You can use Poketch #20 to follow the results of how many you have encountered in a row.

The more of a species you encounter in a row the higher chances of seeing a pronounced sparkling patch of grass (this patch is the one with a shiny in it).

Note: Reset the radar without leaving the grass patch you are in (it will keep the chain) if there are less than four wiggling spots on screen.

Neither did I know that reseting the pokeradar kept the chain.

It'll take a while, but this does work. If you can encounter the same pokemon +50 times you are almost 100% sure to get a shiny on the next one.

yeah that worked for me too i kept the chain for 50 guys and then at like 53 i think it was i got a shiny

I know a way to check if you get the right Pokémon from the path you were walking into.

When you walk into the grass path, check on the place where it says how many u got. (at the top on Pokétch #20.) If the number and the pokemon disappears right before the battle starts the chain broke, if not it will continue.

wat is the wiggling/shake stuff

When you chain or use the pokeradar go to steps the patch thats 4 steps away from you.
the more steps away the better the chances are of it being the same pokemon.
Also dont go to patches that are at the edges or close to the edge.
To get like really good at chaining go to youtube guides they'ew pretty helpful.
Another easy way to chain is to use a pokemon with Static and have it as the leader and chain electric pokemon it helps.

the only thing bad about catching shinies is that u got to get to a chain of 40
