We have an "Other" that has several Chrome votes. If I change the poll settings, it won't show Chrome having any votes, so the poll would be skewed. If you like Chrome, just vote other. It's not such a travesty.itachi64 wrote:Chrome > All. Get some mods in here guys u need to edit that poll.

Re: Firefox, IE, or Safari?
I use Firefox it may be slower these days but at least its safe. I switched to Palemoon on my moms advice, and not even a full 2 months later I got a virus that couldn't be cured, and it kept attacking the svchost every 10 minutes, and I had to reformat my computer. >=(
But I've been using firefox for many years before then, and never had a problem as such, so its the bestest web browser in my opinion.

Firefox.
It runs very safely and fast, unlike IE that takes 5 seconds to let me do anything on it. I heard Chrome is good as well but because of the personas, Firefox is better for me.
Btw did anyone try out FF4 Beta?

Firefox. Chrome is too plain for me and IE is too slow.

I use Safari. It is absolutely amazing, even compared to Firefox on my PC.

I still use the classic internet explorer. I love it as much as the day I first got it.

Re: Firefox, IE, or Safari?
I thought Chrome's idea of running all of its tabs in separate processes was brilliant - until Chrome crashed and I lost all of my tabs, and Chrome doesn't even have a session restore feature. I gave Chrome a fair shot, but I only used it for a couple of weeks before I decided it was inferior.
Firefox has one main problem: a serious lack of default features. Before you install any add-ons (or extensions), it basically has fewer features than even Internet Explorer. And as soon as you start putting extensions on it, it starts eating up a lot of memory. Sometimes two or more extensions will clash and Firefox will become completely unstable.
What I like about Opera is that, like Firefox, it has every feature you could ever want, but unlike Firefox, it has them all out-of-the-box. My only gripe with Opera is that it's non-free. Chrome and Firefox will always hold that edge for me.
Bottom line: If you don't care about the freedom to see, study, or modify the code, then Opera is just the best modern browser. If I had a bit more programming knowledge, I would probably use Firefox.

I'm a safari user on windows. It is, imo, faster and I really like its easy to access bookmarks, its slimness (IE is so chunky) and its tabs.

Re: Firefox, IE, or Safari?
Your post is meaningless unless you tell us why.
In other news, my respect for Firefox has decreased somewhat since last time. I've found it runs extremely slowly on Ubuntu 10.10, which makes no sense to me - and I'm a contributor to 10.10. I plan to investigate Firefox a little more thoroughly in the near future to figure out if there's some coding error in it, but as of right now, I'm totally stumped.
So here I am, on a brand-new PC, once again using Opera.

Re: Firefox, IE, or Safari?
I rather Firefox. I pin nothing adverse to the other browsers, but IMO, Firefox feels the most immersing, clean, and most suiting to my fancy.
