Difficulty

I think Platinum was a bit harder than Diamond and Pearl, especially the gym leaders. Heart Gold and Soul Silver was just cake, the opponents' Pokemon were all way underleveled.

That is very true! I could never beat the colloseum games! XD So yeah, Diamond wasn't too hard.

It's funny that you should say this even though you tried to make a post about which game was the most difficult earlier [despite the fact that this very thread already existed].

I pretty much had the same experience with every game, they were pretty passable.
The ones that were hard though were the Console games, overall.

I don't think any of them were particularly hard but I think HGSS were the most annoying, at least for me anyway. The level ramp from Elite four to the kanto gyms was negligible at best, and then a straight uphill to Red. Some semblance of a curve would have been nice, or at least stronger pokemon to train against than high 40's.

I agree about all of them being about the same difficulty.
Catching them all in order to fill the dex is the hardest part to me.

I also hated that there weren't many higher level pokemon to battle against in the wild for SS. It was horrible trying to level up to beat Red. And I still haven't beaten him just because I'm too lazy to go up that massive mountain, but I know that I could if I actually took the time. It's so frustrating.

Yeah it was pretty lame that most of the SS & HG's wild pokemon were so weak...but the trick is to persevere and keep on going, also you can always rematch the Gym leaders as many times as you want the day they're available; after you beat them you can call them right away to fight them again.

I don't think any were too hard. But I'm cheap. I traded my team to Diamond and trained with an exp boost and lucky egg, then sent them back. 8D

I've always thought the original 3 games were the hardest but, maybe that's just a matter of opinion.

they weren't even close to the difficulty in pokemon collesium for the GC T_T
that game took forever and soo many tries for me to beat and on top of that getting Mattle's Hooh was like impossible O.o... but i still did it =P
it was sooo worth it when i got it onto emerald =]

Pokemon games have always been simple simple. If you want something difficult go for Final Fantasy and slap on HARD.

Iv'e played that, only on easy tho.

Easy especially compared to Harvest Moon: Rune Factory Frontier, 2nd dungeon if you were under lvl 70 you're dead lol

None of them were that hard. If I had to pick it has to be Red or Blue

FR/LG because for 2 weeks I was stuck at the part you needed to get past the security guards. *Still doesn't believe that they prefer tea over soft drinks*

D/P was way too easy. then it got really hard when you reach the Elite 4.

D/P were easy, not the easiest pokémon games, but they were pretty easy. I wish pokémon games had a certain difficulty, then I'd put them on hard and give it a try

Yeah i agree D/P was easy until I had to battle the Elite Four.

No way diamond and pearl was easy when I first bort the game I thought i was going to be diffecult wasn't i wrong

They're all pretty easy, but I'd say that the Sinnoh region is tied for hardest with the Kanto region IMO LEVEL WISE.
